ABOUT ELLIE PICKARD
I'm a student looking to finish my degree in Fine Art Painting and Drawing. It is not just a hobby to me and so I want to build a career using my artwork as the platform.
I am slowly beginning to find my style as an artist and it is predominantly surrounded by drawing. I have a fascination with the extreme closeup, going beyond what a camera can do and so a microscope was the next best thing. I like to experiment with the space I can create in my drawings whether that is negative space or blurring the sense of scale.
